In today’s society, unfortunately, it is often about the Get the cheapest possible price. This “attitude to life”, true to the motto “greed is cool”, has long since expanded into many areas – including electricity providers. A wave of bankruptcies at the end of the year shows that the most important factor should not always be the cheapest price. Thousands of customers are probably affected and are now surprisingly being supplied with electricity again by the basic supplier.
Low-cost providers no longer have a business basis
Neckermann Strom, Stromio, Dreischtrom and other providers have partially filed for bankruptcy. Background for the Delivery stop or bankruptcy some providers are probably primarily the increased energy prices. Under these conditions, the business of the cheap providers no longer works, as the Handelsblatt had already reported a few days ago. There are two options for providers: cancel customers or raise prices sharply.
Personally, I’ve always been with the local supplier. It may be a bit more expensive, but it is financially stable and I am not “forced” to look for new providers more often. I also think that the money might be better off locally. Also with a view to the expansion of charging stations, which have meanwhile become important to me as a “fan” of electromobility, I see my money being better off with the basic supplier.
